Design Now: MasterClass with Jane Withers

This Istanbul Modern masterclass focuses on how design can respond to social, cultural and environmental change. Jane Withers is an independent curator, writer and design consultant whose research-based practice addresses issues including sustainability, water and human-centred design. The session considers design beyond the production of objects, including its capacity to raise social awareness, assume environmental responsibility and support new ways of living. It is part of Istanbul Modern’s Design Now programme and is scheduled for 8 October at 18:30 at the museum in Tophane.
